Jai Jinendra, |
Dear Sadharmik Brothers and Sisters, |
We are going to start our JCA PATHSHALA soon. Please come to JCA Temple and register your children on Saturday, October 8, 2016 | Sunday, October 9, 2016 | Saturday, October 15, 2016 and Sunday, October 16, 2016 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. |
These classes are for children from preschool age onward: |
Jain 101 - Age 2-5 |
Jain 102 - Age 5-7, K-2 Grade |
Jain 103 - Age 8-10, 3-4 Grade |
Jain 104 - Age 10-16 and above |
|
We will be following the JAINA curriculum, and the teachers will be giving their input according to the children needs. All learning materials will be provided. These classes will be held in all 3 languages - English, Gujarati and Hindi for all the 5 traditions in our temple. |
There are also going to be adult classes, where parents or anyone who wants to join can participate in discussion and learn more about our religion. These classes will be held during the children classes times, so that the parents can participate too. |
Religious education is important because it equips students with cultural, social, moral and spiritual knowledge that aids in mental and physical development within society. Children are naturally curious and by teaching them about our religion, we are giving them the information they seek and filling the gap in their knowledge, in the same way we do when we teach about history or politics. |
Please encourage and make sure that your children sign up for Pathshala Classes to learn Jain Religion, culture, values and also to interact with other Jain children of their ages. For Adults this Pathshala Classes will be beneficial to learn Jain Religion in-depth and to interact and network with other Jain Members. |
If you can't make it for registration, and would like to register your child please register online. |
